About the role
- Provide advanced technical expertise to semiconductor and life sciences customers using electron microscopy and analytical solutions
- Develop, implement, and optimize applications to support customer workflows
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, building strong customer relationships
- Support new product introductions and evolving customer technologies
- Deliver customer training on complex instrumentation and applications
- Collaborate with product development and commercial teams to drive customer success
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions
- Support data analysis, process optimization, and workflow development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline with 8+ years of experience with electron microscopy techniques (SEM, FIB/SEM, TEM) and related workflows OR Advanced Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
- Expert understanding of semiconductor processing, device physics, and failure analysis techniques
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing technical solutions
- Experience training and mentoring users on complex instrumentation
- Experience with automation, scripting, or programming (Python, C#, MATLAB) preferred
- Experience with data analysis, process optimization, and workflow development
- Familiarity with laboratory operations and quality control procedures
- Proficiency with relevant software platforms and data management systems
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%
