About the role

  • Collaborate with Commercial Operations, Strategic Accounts teams, and cross-functional partners to provide high-quality legal guidance and support.
  • Facilitate business transactions and handle contract negotiations while working with Product Management, IP, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, Risk Management, Operations, and Legal Centers of Excellence.
  • Create value by drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, analyzing legal rights and obligations, developing new contractual documents, and delivering legal training programs to internal clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus strong commercial contracts legal experience, preferably including in-house experience in life sciences or regulated-sector companies
  • Active bar membership/legal practice qualification in relevant jurisdiction
  • Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and intellectual property agreements
  • Experience advising on legal consequences of contract terms and performing legal rights analysis
  • Strong ability to resolve problems of diverse scope and moderate to high complexity
  • Demonstrated success in achieving results through collaboration, negotiation, and organizational change
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management systems preferred
  • Excellence in building collaborative relationships both internally and externally
  • Strong time management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and related electronic tools
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate global colleagues
