About the role

  • Installation, commissioning, maintenance, qualification, troubleshooting and repair of assigned products
  • Technical and application support for customers
  • Thorough documentation of service activities and escalation management
  • Support in the sale of service products such as service contracts, qualifications and upgrades
  • Close collaboration with support teams and manufacturing sites
  • Maintenance of material inventory as well as measuring and testing equipment
  • Support for trade shows and exhibitions
  • Operational collaboration with technical team leaders
  • Frequent travel within Germany and, as required, within the EMEA region and worldwide for training purposes

Requirements

  • Completed technical training or relevant professional experience in electronics, natural sciences, medical technology, or a comparable technical degree
  • Experience in servicing analytical or scientific instruments is an advantage
  • Strong interest in analytical systems and in working continuously with new products and technologies
  • Strong analytical thinking, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer hardware and software
  • High team orientation and a positive, professional demeanor with customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in customer-facing situations and within a matrix organization
  • Very good German language skills (at least B2) and good English language skills (at least B1), both spoken and written
  • Valid driving license to operate a passenger vehicle
