About the role
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the supply chain function, including planning, logistics, and distribution
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support business objectives and enhance operational efficiency
- Optimize inventory management processes to minimize costs while maintaining high service levels
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and streamline supply chain operations
- Collaborate with team members from different functions to ensure supply chain activities are in line with overall business objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and robust supply chain network
- Apply proven strategies and widely accepted methods to improve supply chain efficiency and stay ahead in the market
- Lead and nurture a supply chain team that consistently demonstrates strong teamwork and innovative thinking
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
- Equivalent experience in the industry will also be considered
- At least 10 years in supply chain management, with increasing levels of responsibility
- 7+ years of leadership experience and the ability to inspire and empower a diverse and global team
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong business acumen
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with ability to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels
- Consistent track record of effectively leading projects and achieving successful outcomes
- Deep expertise in end-to-end supply chain processes including demand/supply planning, capacity planning, procurement, and logistics
- Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced analytics tools
- Proven track record in driving maturity and excellence in SIOP process
- Travel up to 25% including international travel as required
