About the role

  • Provide technical and organizational leadership for the gardening team
  • Manage, coordinate and execute landscape construction projects from inception through completion
  • Ensure quality, schedule compliance and budget control across all garden projects
  • Communicate with other team leaders, teams and senior management — professionally and with a solutions focus
  • Lead and develop staff, including training, work scheduling and personnel responsibility
  • Contribute to bid/cost estimation and project planning

Requirements

  • Degree in landscape architecture, certified master gardener (Gärtnermeister), technician in landscape construction (Gala‑Bau), or long-standing experience in garden and landscape construction as well as ornamental plant production
  • Initial leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of plants and construction materials
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills and assertiveness
  • Confident handling of suppliers and external service providers
  • Very good German language skills; English skills are an advantage
