The summer Accounting & Finance Rotational Program (AFRP) internship provides undergrad students a preview of The Walt Disney Company's two-year AFRP
AFRP Analysts participate in four distinct rotations designed to build key technical and leadership skills needed to succeed within the many businesses of Disney
Analysts will set goals for their program experience, allowing them to develop, grow, and enhance the necessary skills to become strong accounting and finance professionals
Summer interns will be placed in ONE of the departments that typically host AFRP Analysts, which could include Corporate, Disney Entertainment, or Disney Experiences
Functional areas include Operational/Transactional Accounting, Financial Reporting, Audit & Compliance, or Finance
Full-time, three-month commitment, with opportunities in Glendale/Burbank, CA, Orlando, FL and/or Bristol, CT from May/June 2026 to August/September 2026
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be considered for various opportunities in the accounting organizations within The Walt Disney Company
Requirements
A combination of academic proficiency, quantitative skills, personal motivation, and advanced written and oral communications skills
A desire to become licensed as a CPA
Dedication to building a career in accounting and finance
Business experience through internships or part-time work
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Proven track record to take on leadership positions and significant responsibility
Interest in The Walt Disney Company's two-year Accounting & Finance Rotational Program after graduation
3.5 GPA or higher preferred
Junior - Graduating in May/June 2027 preferred
Major or previous coursework in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related, with a focus on Accounting
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Candidate must be fully available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
Able to provide your own housing and reliable transportation for the duration of the internship program
On-site position but also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace for the days you may work from home
