About the role
- The Staff Product Manager defines and drives strategy, planning, and execution oversight for a portfolio of internal technology products.
- Partners with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and senior leaders to deliver solutions that generate measurable business value.
- Serves as strategic owner for multiple complex products across the full lifecycle, from ideation to operations, acting as liaison between Corporate Technology and customers.
- Develops 12- to 24-month roadmaps, prioritizes PRDs, and manages features based on user needs, goals, and technical feasibility.
- Leads cross-functional product initiatives and special projects requiring coordination and influence.
- Engages with legal operations and vendors to align technology roadmaps with legal strategies and compliance needs.
- Manages budgets, forecasts, resource allocation, and related financial planning activities to support sustainable operations.
- Builds relationships with internal partners, external vendors, and executives to secure alignment and funding.
- Conducts landscape analyses and presents to executives to inform strategic planning and product positioning.
- Mentors product owners and analysts to elevate product thinking and delivery capability
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing complex products within a large, multi-national corporation
- Demonstrated experience in legal technology and operations is required
- Demonstrated ability to define multi-year product strategies and roadmaps that align with business goals
- Hands-on experience overseeing the full product lifecycle, from ideation through sustainment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of building trusted relationships across levels
- Experience representing product teams with executive stakeholders, facilitating alignment and navigating competing priorities
- Strong analytical skills and experience conducting product, competitor, or industry landscape assessments
- Comfortable delivering strategic briefings and deep-dive presentations to senior audiences
- Experience managing product budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation in collaboration with finance and PMO partners
- Experience managing relationships with third-party vendors and external partners
- Track record of sharing learnings with fellow product managers, while mentoring senior product owners, or analysts within a product organization
- Demonstrated ability to elevate product management maturity through sharing frameworks, playbooks, and best practices
- Experience leading large cross-functional initiatives that span teams, systems, or business lines
- Operates with a high degree of autonomy and regularly influences through informal leadership across the organization
