About the role
- Provide HR guidance to plants within assigned region
- Conduct internal HR auditing
- Assist with hiring and terminations
- Gather data and compile reports
- Assist with benefits administration
- Manage a team of site-specific HR Personnel handling HR tasks
- Travel to assigned plants and conduct audits of personnel files
- Monitor sites’ weekly time sheets in ADP system
- Prepare reports for site and executive management
- Assist site HR personnel with benefits administration
- Conduct on-site investigations into employee relations issues
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies
- Deliver routine HR training to site management teams
- Coach, train, and provide performance feedback to site HR personnel
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or a related field preferred
- 2-3 years’ experience in an HR-related function, or in a position with direct responsibility for HR-related tasks required
- 3+ years’ experience in an HR-related function, or in a position with direct responsibility for HR-related tasks in food processing facility preferred
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- PHR Certification preferred
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and some PowerPoint)
