About the role
- Use appropriate architecture computer tools and programming languages in the development of streamlined pathways, data collection, document flow and reports
- Participate in the evaluation, planning, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance and support of system upgrades, optimizations and new system implementations.
- Deliver a project or work product that meets the expectations of the request, insures customer acceptance, and stays within project timelines.
- Ensure that proper education and documentation is completed for assigned projects and that there is a plan for distributing that education.
- Develop and maintain supporting documentation for project design, development, coordination and implementation.
- Actively participates and shares ideas in team, project and status meetings.
- Learn, develop, and maintain an expert level of knowledge in the assigned application or technical areas and their impacts towards the clinical departments and resources.
- Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
Requirements
- High School Graduate
- Bachelors Degree or 3 years of related experience in applied area
- 1 or more years of working with Epic or other comparable health care informatics computer system.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Windows and word processing experience.
- Familiarity with personal computers, their hardware requirements, and various applications.
