Business Development Rep

• Complies with and ensures compliance with all Tri-M safety policies and procedures.
• Generate sales with new customers in new and existing markets and segments.
• Determine market and prospect requirements and expectations that can be fulfilled with our existing or new value proposition elements.
• Identify, recommend, and validate new business opportunities.
• Present a clear description and rationalize new business options.
• Accurately and effectively communicate with prospects and industry affiliates.
• Participate in the prospecting process, to include lead generation, lead qualification and communicate those qualified leads to the outside sales team.
• Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.
• Understand the positioning of competitive companies and how that would affect our entry into new segments and or with new customers.
• Increase profitable sales with the identification of new business opportunities, performance goals, and potential incremental profit improvement.
• Regularly contact prospects and new customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and help the company reach our full potential with each account.
• Consistently inform company leadership, management, and sales representatives on new business identification and opportunities.
• Remain current on market and customer preferences, by attending meetings, training and trade shows or trade journals.
• Set-up and maintain prospect files and a data base.
• Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team and company.
• Maintain proficiency in using PC programs, the CRM system, and other software and equipment used by the company.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Present a professional image at all times and in all dealings.
• Ensure that all internal company communications, financial information, pricing information, plans and strategies are kept confidential.
• Demonstrate the ability to tactfully handle difficult situations.
• Anticipate problems and provide contingency plans and recommendations.

Business Development Executive

Account Executive

• Develops sales leads and customer contacts.
• Assists Marketing team in implementing marketing plan.
• Analyzes and evaluates customer and application to pre-qualify sales lead.
• Conducts site survey to assist in system design and cost estimation.
• Prepares system cost estimate, savings analysis and sales proposal.
• Presents sales proposal and conducts system demonstrations.
• Conducts necessary sales follow up to secure purchase order.
• Communicates to corporate engineering and installation personnel customer system requirements.
• Coordinates between customer and corporate personnel specific job information.
• Conducts sales and informational calls to architectural and engineering community.
• Follows up system sales for customer satisfaction and potential system expansion or service work.
• Meets or exceeds annual booking and grossing goals.
• Actively updates sales progress in current CRM.

Building Automation Sales Account Executive

Administration

• Responsible for providing overall administrative support to the Electrical Construction business unit
• Provides support to management, project management, and sales employees
• Complies with all Tri-M safety, substance abuse prevention, and employment policies and procedures
• Complies with Tri-M’s standards of conduct and appearance to reflect positively on the Company
• Responsible for the complete billing process from preparation, reconciliation, to data entry into the accounting system
• Identifies and posts job costs and labor hours by task codes; computes labor costs, overhead and profit factors for each task code; and completes final billing computations
• Prepares job initialization documents for projects by assisting project managers with job submittals, change order logs, RFIs, O&M manuals and close out documents
• Ensures timely and proper invoicing of customers
• Maintains cumulative retainage amounts on specified accounts
• Expedites accounts receivable including resolving customer billing problems
• Prepares monthly billing and backlog reports and updates backlog daily
• Answers phones and takes messages for managers
• Contacts customers and field personnel as requested by managers
• Prepares letters, memos and other correspondence as needed
• Pulls weekly job costs reports for managers as requested
• Attends applicable division meetings and prepares minutes of meetings
• Assists with accurate filing of archives for future reference
• Occasionally prices materials for bid estimates
• Assists with customer revenue and contract multiplier reports
• Assists purchasing with renting equipment as needed
• Recommends improved methods of operation
• Assists project management team as needed

Administrator

Project Manager

• Supervises and directs overall administration, organization and implementation of assigned electrical projects.
• Complies with and ensures compliance with all Tri-M safety policies and procedures.
• Conducts timely and accurate performance appraisals on all assigned personnel.
• Ensures customer satisfaction and solicits customer feedback from all project customers.
• Develops scope of work, bill of material and labor hours for estimates.
• Coordinates material requirements of projects to ensure timely delivery of material for jobs.
• Ensures projects are properly tooled and have secure storage and office facilities.
• Prepares project status reports and/or schedules, if applicable.

Security Engineer

• Complies with and ensures compliance with all Tri-M safety policies and procedures.
• Complies with and ensures compliance with all Tri-M employment policies and procedures including standards of conduct and appearance to reflect positively on the Company.
• Complies with customer and jobsite safety requirements and procedures, and ensures subcontractors do the same.
• Provides complete, accurate and timely security solutions and estimates, including Access Control, video surveillance systems, and Intrusion Detection Burg for projects.
• Reads and interprets plans and specifications to ensure project scope is covered.
• Identify where assumptions and clarifications need to be made to align with the scope of work and information provided.
• Refines and adjusts estimating labor units and costs on an ongoing basis.
• Reviews completed projects in order to refine estimating practices.
• Attends pre-bid meetings and conducts job walkthroughs as required.
• Coordinates subcontractor bidding.
• Reviews estimates with management and sales per established guidelines.
• Ensures kick-off meetings are conducted and hands off appropriate information to Operations.
• Evaluates estimating software applications and provides feedback for Security.
