About the role
- Location - Must reside in and be authorized to work in the US
- Act as the primary bridge between Account Management, Ad Operations, and Engineering
- Translate client and operational requirements into clear, actionable technical requests for Engineering
- Communicate platform changes, technical limitations, and roadmap updates back to Account Management and AdOps
- Own escalation and resolution of complex campaign, platform, and workflow issues
- Support campaign setup, trafficking, troubleshooting, and optimization within the DSP
- Ensure Account Management and AdOps teams understand how to leverage platform capabilities effectively
- Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and partner with Engineering to drive long-term solutions
- Design, document, and deliver onboarding and ongoing training for Account Management and AdOps teams
- Create playbooks, SOPs, and best-practice documentation for DSP usage and workflows
- Serve as the internal subject-matter expert on DSP operations and capabilities
- Define and standardize workflows between Account Management, AdOps, and Engineering
- Establish SLAs, escalation paths, and feedback loops to improve execution speed and quality
- Provide operational input into product and engineering roadmaps based on frontline insights
- Directly manage at least one team member initially
- Hire, onboard, and develop additional team members as platform usage and complexity scale
- Set performance expectations, coaching plans, and career development paths
Requirements
- 5+ years of Ad Operations experience, with strong DSP and programmatic expertise
- Proven experience working closely with Account Management and Engineering teams
- Deep understanding of programmatic workflows, campaign execution, and optimization
- Experience creating and delivering training for operational or client-facing teams
- Prior people management experience or demonstrated ability to lead and grow a team
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting or operating a proprietary DSP or ad tech platform
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- Familiarity with technical concepts such as APIs, data pipelines, or platform architecture (non-coding)
- Experience building operational processes and training programs from scratch
