About the role
- Create and monitor grant project strategy plans - convening and facilitating, planning meetings, managing, tracking, and updating grant budgets, collecting, and reporting on deliverable/impact data, and completing grant close-out reporting.
- Oversee approved funding agreements to ensure that documentation and reporting requirements are met prior to due dates.
- Oversee and initial drafting of interim and final grant reports.
- Use existing project management and CRM tools (currently Monday.com and Salesforce) to keep workflow information clear and current.
- Commit to engaging seamlessly in a virtual work environment, using Slack, Google Suite tools, and other systems to support transparency and relationship building.
- Ensure smooth and successful internal and external meetings, developing and distributing agendas ahead of time and utilizing both Zoom and Google Meet platforms.
- Maintain and manage complete records and files per The Steve Fund’s record-keeping policies, including funder and proposal information, contracts, paperwork, and key documentation.
- Coordinate with and attend meetings to ensure that the grant project management strategy aligns with the Fundraising goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3- 5 years experience in managing corporate contributions and grants.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with set deadlines/guidelines.
- Experience working for a nonprofit organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a diverse environment and across cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to adapt to a changing work volume while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong independent thinking and judgment, combined with solid logical and ethical reasoning.
- Ability to problem-solve and develop long-term solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Good organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Knowledge of and familiarity with database applications such as Salesforce, Monday.com, and Microsoft products
