About the role
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including scheduling orientations and ensuring completion of all employment documentation
- Prepare offer letters, job change documentation, and maintain standardized HR templates
- Support recruiting efforts by posting jobs, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews
- Assist with payroll and benefits enrollment for new employees
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HRIS data integrity
- Support offboarding processes and general HR administrative functions
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, payroll, and benefits
- Assist with reporting, compliance initiatives, and employee engagement efforts
- Participate in in-office responsibilities, including onboarding sessions as needed (3 days onsite per week)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable interacting with leadership and professional staff
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS or ATS platforms preferred
- Experience in a professional services or law firm environment is a plus
