About the role
- Define and execute enterprise-wide data and analytics strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead and mentor high-performing teams in data engineering, analytics, reporting, and data science.
- Oversee design, development, and optimization of data platforms, pipelines, and cloud-based solutions.
- Translate data into actionable insights supporting clinical quality, population health, financial performance, and operational efficiency.
- Establish and enforce data governance, quality standards, and regulatory compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITECH, CMS).
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and analytics partners.
- Evaluate and implement BI tools and emerging analytics technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Statistics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 8+ years in data, analytics, or BI roles, including 3–5 years in leadership.
- Healthcare experience in providers, payers, life sciences, or digital health.
- Expertise with EHR, claims, financial systems, and population health data.
- Proficiency in analytics platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, GCP) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Preferred: Experience in value-based care, population health, or risk adjustment.
- Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT, HCC, and quality reporting.
- Experience with predictive analytics, AI/ML, and advanced modeling.
- Excellent executive communication and change-management skills.
