About the role
- Managing all day-to-day administrative and operational activities
- Acting as the main point of contact for client communication
- Supporting production workflows, order tracking, and delivery timelines
- Assisting with product costing, pricing structures, and customisation details
- Managing order fulfilment from confirmation through to final delivery
- Maintaining, improving, and building efficient systems and workflows
- Reviewing existing processes and proactively recommending improvements
- Working closely with the founder as a trusted, long-term right-hand support
Requirements
- Proven experience in a decorative lighting, interiors, design, manufacturing, or production-based industry
- Ability to step into a role quickly and operate with minimal hand-holding
- Strong background in operations, administration, or business support
- Clear interest and capability in systems, process improvement, and operational optimisation
- Highly intelligent, confident, and able to learn complex business processes quickly
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data and spreadsheets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Naturally proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Comfortable working independently in a bespoke, fast-moving environment
