About the role
- Educate and engage the public one-on-one on campaigns like protecting wildlife, eliminating plastic waste, and ensuring clean air and water
- Build support and fundraise for nonprofit partners including Environment America and PIRG
- Hire, train and manage canvass staff and run a canvass office
- Conduct door-to-door, face-to-face conversations and outreach on America’s front doorsteps
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in significant decisions
- Meet office staffing, campaign and fieldwork goals and report on progress
- Work across multiple locations and be geographically flexible
