About the role
- Manage the entire payroll cycle, ensuring each step is completed within agreed-upon timeframes
- Produce essential employee documents
- Generate RTIs and pension files
- Handle timely processing of HMRC and third-party payments
- Foster strong relationships with clients and communicate effectively with HMRC
- Create statutory payment schedules and perform manual calculations for various scenarios including starters, leavers, tax, NI, student loans, and pensions
Requirements
- At least one year of payroll experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office—especially Excel and Outlook
- Comprehensive understanding of pension and Automatic Enrolment rules
- Deep understanding of HMRC legislation and statutory payments
- Proven experience in client-facing roles
- Strong team player and a keen learner
