About the role

  • Manage the entire payroll cycle, ensuring each step is completed within agreed-upon timeframes
  • Produce essential employee documents
  • Generate RTIs and pension files
  • Handle timely processing of HMRC and third-party payments
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and communicate effectively with HMRC
  • Create statutory payment schedules and perform manual calculations for various scenarios including starters, leavers, tax, NI, student loans, and pensions

Requirements

  • At least one year of payroll experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office—especially Excel and Outlook
  • Comprehensive understanding of pension and Automatic Enrolment rules
  • Deep understanding of HMRC legislation and statutory payments
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles
  • Strong team player and a keen learner
