About the role

  • Lead safety programs for maintenance and operational teams within e-commerce fulfillment centers
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 (General Industry)
  • Oversee safety related to:
  • Preventive and reactive maintenance
  • Conveyor systems, automation, robotics, and material handling equipment
  • Electrical safety, LOTO, machine guarding, and confined spaces
  • Develop and enforce LOTO programs and energy control procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and behavioral safety observations
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and equipment-related injuries
  • Partner with Maintenance Managers, Reliability Engineers, and Operations Leaders
  • Manage contractor and vendor safety performance
  • Deliver safety training, onboarding, and refresher programs
  • Analyze injury trends and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and safety technology deployment

Requirements

  • 5+ years of EHS experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or e-commerce
  • OSHA 30 (General Industry)
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance safety and machine guarding
  • Experience working in automated or highly mechanized facilities
  • Data-driven approach to safety performance improvement
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, metrics-driven environments
  • Ability to work on the floor in active fulfillment centers
  • Exposure to noise, moving equipment, and elevated platforms
  • May require nights, weekends, or on-call support
