Field Project Manager – Conveyor & Material Handling Systems Installation

Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain web-based graphical user interfaces within the DGLUX / ENVYSION (Distech Controls) environment.
• Build intuitive and responsive UI components for HVAC, lighting, energy systems, and IoT platforms.
• Develop and integrate automation strategies using industry-standard open protocols, including BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, and RESTful APIs.
• Translate engineering designs and functional requirements into accurate, real-time graphical dashboards and control pages.
• Work closely with project engineers, BMS programmers, and data analysts to ensure seamless platform integration and user experience.
• Optimise system performance by troubleshooting communication issues and validating data flow across protocols.
• Ensure graphical standards, templates, and workflows are documented and scalable across multiple projects.
• Support commissioning teams during testing, validation, and final delivery.
• (Desirable) Integrate dashboards and data flows with energy analytics platforms such as SkySpark.

MSI Engineer

• The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of projects from conception to completion.
• This includes full accountability for project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Ensuring alignment with customer-specific requirements for equipment installation (DIP) and related activities.

• Lead commercial strategy and proposal development, including scope review, pricing, and internal alignment
• Interface with clients during pre-contract phases to clarify technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with estimating, planning, engineering, and construction teams to deliver complete commercial packages
• Support contract reviews, negotiations, and commercial risk identification
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all commercial and contractual documentation
• Provide leadership during project execution to ensure alignment with approved scope, budget, and schedule
• Serve as the licensed General Contractor of record when required, ensuring regulatory and code compliance
• Oversee site operations including safety, quality, scheduling, inspections, and permitting
• Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to contract terms and licensing requirements
• Assume responsibility for construction means and methods when acting in a General Contractor capacity.

• Data analysis and reporting: Analyzing maintenance data, such as equipment downtime, repair costs, and maintenance schedules, to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Order parts and materials as needed for repairs and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs, reports, and documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance and repair tasks.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
