About the role
- Gather and articulate the department’s analytics needs, document requirements, and prioritize needs in partnership with department leadership
- Build strong relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders, including in-house Global Development analysts and IT, to deliver on departmental reports and analytics outcomes
- Guide and support the development and management of a new analytics governance team, partnering with Philanthropy Effectiveness, Global Development, and IT
- Provide training and support to business users to drive the adoption of existing and new reports in platforms such as Power BI
- Use curated reports, dashboards, and datasets to answer business questions and identify trends
- Lead the Philanthropy Operations & Performance analytics team in leveraging existing reports and data tables to synthesize and package insights for various audiences, including senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years related experience
- Experience in planning and delivering budgetary responsibilities
- Experience managing and supervising a multidisciplinary team
- Experience developing, managing and implementing multiple projects and strategic goals
- Experience working across complex organizations
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple organizational levels
- Experience, coursework, or other training in principles, practices, and procedures of business intelligence and data governance
