About the role

  • Lead the development and implementation of multidisciplinary impact media campaigns engaging and motivating diverse audiences to facilitate conservation action and outcomes
  • Serve as a public affairs advisor
  • Develop a media campaign framework
  • Manage a portfolio of grantees and contractors producing strategically aligned place-based impact media and activations
  • Provide leadership and effective collaboration with the Conservation and Government Relations teams and key partners
  • Develop content and strategies to engage, educate, and mobilize toward conservation action
  • Oversee granting and contracting for impact media productions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in political science, environmental policy, management or other relevant field
  • 5 years of government relations, public affairs or corporate sector experience, or equivalent combination education/experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Analytical and project management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully developing and implementing complex projects in an unstructured environment
  • Experience developing, directing and managing multiple projects and implementing strategic program goals
  • Proven communication and presentation skills
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Valid driver's license and compliance with TNC’s Auto Safety Program
  • Frequent travel required
