About the role

  • Provide analytical support & insights to Ice Cream CBD teams within Canada.
  • Proactively analyze and review information on current business, identifying opportunities or potential problems.
  • Draw observation and deliver trends & insights related to a Customer and category.
  • Using diverse data sources including Customer Sales, AC Nielsen, Shipment information, competitive market activity, and internal planning sources.
  • Execute and maintain reports for performance, planning, forecasting and trends.
  • Analyze and visualize data to aid in decision making and illustrate insights.
  • Deliver analytic insights related to optimal assortment recommendations for cabinet planograms, POS and execution.
  • Collaborate with the team within Unilever and customer to share best practice analysis.

Requirements

  • Bi-lingual in English and French
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Previous analytical experience an asset
  • Personal leadership and Owners mindset
  • Self-motivated, Service minded, solution-focused attitude
  • Detail oriented, yet mastered the ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively
  • Strong analytical skills – can leverage technology & tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, Power BI or Data visualization to move from observation to insight.
  • Experience with some of these tools an asset
  • Experience with Nielsen and data manipulation (MTrack, Shopper Track (Homescan), etc.) an asset
  • Curious in nature and constantly seeking to learn
  • Works well in teams (as there is significant exposure to cross-functional teams)
