Investigate facts, prepare documents, and assist attorneys with support and administrative duties
Focus on client service, communication, and medical management; contact clients at least every 30 days and perform initial call within 24 hours
File management: request medical records and bills, maintain document files, document case activity in case management software
Prepare case files for demand department, seek liens and lien reductions under attorney guidance, prepare disbursement statements
Medical management: schedule medical appointments, review and analyze medical records and billing, obtain treatment/property damage/lost wage status and photos
Litigation support: draft petitions and initial discovery for attorney review, generate pleadings, draft discovery responses, schedule doctor conferences, depositions, mediations
Requirements
Experience managing pre-litigation personal injury cases (implied)
Strong client service and communication skills; client interviews and regular updates
Medical records and billing review; ability to locate providers and schedule appointments
Case management and document management in software-based systems
Ability to draft initial discovery, pleadings, and prepare disbursement statements
Meets KPIs: 90% client contact; initial telephone call within 24 hours of assignment
Administrative skills: scheduling, filing, coordinating with attorneys and marketing
