💰 $150,000 - $230,000 per year
About the role
- Represent business clients in complex commercial insurance disputes and related litigation matters
- Manage cases from pre-litigation through resolution, including depositions, law and motion, trial, and arbitration work
- Draft high-level legal briefs, including motions for summary judgment and appellate documents
- Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients, contributing to strategic planning and execution
- Participate in trials and arbitrations (at a minimum, second-chair experience expected)
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in California (required)
- 5–10 years of experience in business/commercial insurance litigation
- Exceptional candidates with 2+ years of high-caliber litigation experience will also be considered.
- Trial or arbitration experience required (at least second-chair, with firsthand courtroom or arbitration exposure).
- A minimum of 150 billable hours per month
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Must possess exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Trial and arbitration experience, with a focus on bad faith cases, is a plus
