About the role
- Lead valuations of new partnership proposals using bottom-up and top-down methodologies, asset mix assessment, FMV benchmarking, and financial modeling.
- Analyze proposals across sports and entertainment partnerships, including teams, leagues, major events and talent to determine financial value, projected return and strategic impact.
- Develop target spend recommendations rooted in asset value, market benchmarks, business potential, and Hard Rock Bet’s marketing strategy.
- Build deal-shaping recommendations for existing and prospective partnerships including asset swaps, deal restructuring, added-value opportunities, and negotiation strategies.
- Create valuation frameworks that blend quantitative outputs with qualitative factors such as brand fit, cultural relevance, and storytelling potential.
- Maintain a consistent rate-card approach across categories: signage, digital, IP, content, hospitality, social, experiential.
- Own partnership performance dashboards and reporting frameworks across the entire portfolio.
- Evaluate full funnel, cross-channel partnership activation impact, including brand awareness, lift, favorability, down to lower funnel performance, including digital performance channels, CRM, on-site engagement, in app and more.
- Deliver ongoing performance readouts and quarterly business reviews for leadership.
- Assess current partner asset utilization and effectiveness; identify gaps, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities.
- Support Partnership Marketing team with actionable insights that strengthen creative strategy and activation planning.
- Work closely with Partnership Marketing to inform renewal strategies, optimization plans, and activation priorities.
- Support Business Development with analysis for potential new markets, teams, or talent deals.
- Create and evolve a centralized, full-funnel partnership valuation and measurement framework that blends quantitative and qualitative performance metrics with qualitative strategic context (including brand fit, cultural alignment, and creative storytelling potential), integrates brand and performance metrics through partnership dashboards and tools, and informs optimized asset mixes, deal valuation, and investment decisions across existing and prospective partnerships when recommending whether to pursue, negotiate, or decline new opportunities.
- Partner with Creative/Brand teams to ensure assets are leveraged for storytelling impact.
- Improve how Hard Rock Digital collects, analyzes, and distributes partnership performance data.
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of partnership analytics, sponsorship valuation, sports marketing strategy, or related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or related field.
- Deep understanding of sponsorship assets, valuation methodologies, and cross-channel marketing impact.
- Strong financial modeling skills and experience building ROI frameworks.
- Ability to translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Strong communicator with exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to balance fast-paced, evolving environments and juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Passion for sports, sports betting, entertainment, and culture.
