About the role
- Serve as a primary legal advisor to the global Marketing and Growth teams
- Advise on advertising and promotional materials across all media
- Structure and negotiate complex marketing and sponsorship agreements
- Manage the full legal lifecycle of brand campaigns
- Counsel on sweepstakes, contests, and promotional programs
- Assess and mitigate intellectual property risks related to music, talent, trademarks, copyrights, rights of publicity, and user-generated content
- Monitor evolving global regulations affecting marketing and consumer communications
- Translate complex legal requirements into clear, actionable guidance
- Collaborate closely across the Coinbase Legal team to resolve issues related to privacy, IP, and financial services
