About the role
- Build and nurture a robust network of journalists, analysts, and influencers and manage media engagements
- Craft creative pitching strategies and secure media exposure via briefings, roundtables and ongoing press outreach
- Curate and refine content including press releases, Q&A documents, bylines and contribute to strategic communications plans in English and/or Chinese
- Design and execute integrated marketing communications blending paid, owned and earned media
- Support client relationships by managing day-to-day activities across multiple accounts and ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met
- Maintain operational excellence through proactive, solutions-oriented project management and ownership of work
- Contribute to new business by developing RFPs, pitch decks and presentations
Requirements
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, PR/Advertising, Communications, Journalism or Linguistics
- Relevant experience in media relations, client servicing and project management
- Superior writing and verbal communication skills
- Superior writing and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in another language would be an advantage
- Interested in working with technology-related portfolio, fintech, corporate
- Passion for digital and social media communications
- Entrepreneurial and curious mindset
- Team player with leadership and accountability
- Candidates based in Singapore and Malaysia welcome; preference for those with existing rights to work in either country
