• Assigned to a number of client accounts to provide team support similar to an associate account executive.
• Media monitoring: Scan for client media coverage and compile media coverage reports to provide to clients.
• Media relations: Monitor editorial opportunities and flag them to the team, research media contacts, compile media contact lists for pitching, draft media pitches, reach out to reporters, and create reporter briefing sheets.
• Speaking and awards: Create and update yearly calendars with speaking and awards opportunities, pull together abstracts and awards submission drafts, and submit the abstracts to nominate the company or product.
• Social media: Research and draft content to submit to client social media platforms.
• Content creation: Draft press releases and PowerPoint presentations for client speaking programs.
• Reporting: Compile monthly metrics reports and end-of-the-month reports.
• New business: Pull together preliminary research to contribute to new business pitches.
• Spirit committee: Be part of the Hoffman spirit committee to help plan company events or special treats.
• Collaborate with team members and support multiple client accounts in a fast-paced PR agency environment.

Fall Intern, B2B Tech PR

Account Executive

• Build and nurture a network of journalists, analysts and influencers; craft pitching strategies and manage media engagements (briefings, roundtables)
• Create and refine content including press releases, Q&A documents, bylines and support development of strategic plans in English and/or Chinese
• Design and execute integrated marketing communications (IMC) blending paid, owned and earned media for multi-channel campaigns
• Support client relations by managing day-to-day activities across multiple accounts and ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met
• Drive operational excellence and collaborate with teams; maintain ownership and balance resources across projects
• Contribute to new business activities including RFPs, pitch decks and presentations to secure tech clients
• Mentor and train junior staff; provide constructive feedback and manage direct reports

Senior Account Executive

Associate Account Executive

Account Manager

• Build and nurture a robust network of journalists, analysts, and influencers and manage media engagements

• Analyze campaign results, monitor competitive landscapes and compile market intelligence and performance reports
• Design and execute integrated multi-channel communications combining paid, owned and earned media
• Serve as the primary liaison and trusted advisor to clients, engaging with senior management and C-level executives
• Lead day-to-day account operations including budgets, resource coordination and overseeing multiple projects
• Contribute to RFPs, pitch decks and new business presentations to secure and expand tech client roster
• Mentor and manage junior staff through one-on-one coaching and training sessions
