About the role

  • Own and manage relationship with assigned national and large wealth management firms
  • Develop and execute focused account plans
  • Identify and advance new opportunities across existing and emerging channels
  • Maintain the health and stability of existing platform relationships
  • Proactively manage platform risk
  • Translate platform priorities into clear, actionable opportunities for distribution teams
  • Increase Hartford Funds’ visibility through participation in key firm events
  • Strengthen access across partner firms
  • Coordinate closely with sales leadership, Strategic Relationship Managers, and cross-functional partners
  • Represent Hartford Funds with professionalism and credibility

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in asset management distribution, wealth management, or key account management
  • Strong working knowledge of national broker-dealers, wirehouses, banks, and regional firm platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, align multiple stakeholders, and drive follow-through across teams
  • Practical understanding of platform economics, product positioning, and due-diligence expectations
  • Clear, confident communication skills
  • Highly organized mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or industry designations preferred
  • Willingness to travel as needed in support of assigned accounts
  • Series 7 & 63 required.
