About the role
- Own and manage relationship with assigned national and large wealth management firms
- Develop and execute focused account plans
- Identify and advance new opportunities across existing and emerging channels
- Maintain the health and stability of existing platform relationships
- Proactively manage platform risk
- Translate platform priorities into clear, actionable opportunities for distribution teams
- Increase Hartford Funds’ visibility through participation in key firm events
- Strengthen access across partner firms
- Coordinate closely with sales leadership, Strategic Relationship Managers, and cross-functional partners
- Represent Hartford Funds with professionalism and credibility
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in asset management distribution, wealth management, or key account management
- Strong working knowledge of national broker-dealers, wirehouses, banks, and regional firm platforms
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, align multiple stakeholders, and drive follow-through across teams
- Practical understanding of platform economics, product positioning, and due-diligence expectations
- Clear, confident communication skills
- Highly organized mindset with strong attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or industry designations preferred
- Willingness to travel as needed in support of assigned accounts
- Series 7 & 63 required.
