About the role
- Craft materials and content that present the vision, impact, and need for GFI’s work
- Create essential resources for the fundraising team
- Collaborate closely with the frontline, Communications, and programmatic teams
- Define our donor personas and create a cross-department stewardship calendar
- Deliver on global stewardship strategy including Development team’s cases for support
- Enhance our global stewardship strategy to maintain and improve donor retention
- Collate and craft timely updates about high-impact news about GFI’s work for donors
- Collaborate with the Senior Annual Fund Manager to support GFI’s annual fund messaging
- Serve as the Development team lead for writing and donor-focused messaging
- Refine donor personas and curate a communications matrix
Requirements
- At least 3 years of development and/or communications experiences
- at least three years experience creating content for donor audiences
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- The ability to develop creative, innovative strategies, and materials for engaging supporters
- Experience in managing projects from conception to fruition
- Experience creating donor video concepts, overseeing filming, and editing video preferred
- Self-motivation with the ability to work well independently and under pressure
