About the role
- Oversee and direct the day-to-day operations of retail store to ensure smooth, profitable operation
- Deliver excellent service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Motivate the sales team to meet sales objectives by training and mentoring staff
- Create sales strategies with the store manager to achieve store goals and individual sales goals
- Partner with the Training Manager on new hire and ongoing training
- Assist with store administration: team tracking, customer follow-up, expense/accounting reports, inventory levels
- Address customer inquiries using expert product knowledge and professionally resolve guest issues
- Conduct in-depth fittings to determine products that relieve foot/knee/hip/back discomfort
Requirements
- Commission based sales/retail experience required
- Management experience required
- Expert product knowledge and ability to address customer inquiries and resolve guest issues
- Ability to train, mentor, and motivate sales team
- Acceptable background and references required
- Comfortable spending extended time with customers during fittings and close physical contact (e.g., hugs)
