About the role
- Oversee the janitorial operations of assigned customers within a specific geographic region.
- Ensure exceptional service delivery and operational excellence.
- Drive quality standards, manage budgets, and foster strong client relationships.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Streamline processes to boost productivity and reduce costs without compromising service quality.
- Conduct routine inspections of client facilities for quality control checks.
- Respond promptly to customer complaints, requests, and issues, documenting and following up with resolution.
- Meet with facility managers to discuss any building issues or concerns.
- Communicate company initiatives, procedures, and directions to team members in a timely manner.
- Ensure Health and Safety requirements are followed and maintained.
- Assist with account start-ups under the guidance of Director of Operations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the facilities services industry. (required)
- 3+ years people and operational management experience. (required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent. (required)
- Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License, an acceptable driving record, and a personal vehicle.
- Must have reliable transportation for business travel purposes.
- 50% travel required with potential for Airplane travel.
- General ability with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Must be self-motivated with a strong ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks/projects.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain high-quality interpersonal relationships.
- Experience with and knowledge of cleaning processes and equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be professional, detail oriented, organized, dependable, trustworthy, and ethical.
- Must be willing to work weekends and be flexible with their schedule.
- Must be accessible to our customers, after hours, weekends, holidays and in emergency situations.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
