Product Designer

• Oversee the design of new programs, ensuring learning experiences are practical, scalable, and industry-relevant
• Ensure curricula and assessments embody our learning design principles and align with the desired competencies
• Collaborate with industry subject matter experts and institutions to co-create cutting-edge program content
• Lead and coach Learning Experience Designers, providing feedback and professional development in instructional design, media integration, and data-informed storytelling
• Manage design workflows, sprints, and retrospectives to ensure smooth delivery
• Oversee staffing allocations, project plans, and delivery calendars
• Establish strong review processes for content quality, accessibility, and pedagogical rigour

• Design engaging, learner-centred experiences aligned to outcomes and learner needs.
• Develop lessons, projects, assessments, and activities using sound instructional design principles.
• Apply design frameworks, templates, and accessibility standards for consistency and quality.
• Experiment with new tools and formats (e.g., AI, interactive media) to enhance learner impact.
• Support senior designers in developing curricula and learning experiences across multiple programs.
• Assist with preparing course deployment materials and conducting final quality assurance checks on LMS content.
• Work with subject matter experts to translate expertise into clear, structured learning content.
• Curate and adapt high-quality materials for online, blended, and experiential learning environments.
• Document and organise learning assets for reuse, scalability, and version control.
• Participate in content review sessions, applying ALX’s design frameworks and templates to ensure accuracy, clarity, and learner engagement.

• Lead or support cross-functional projects across ALX.
• Translate strategic priorities into clear project plans, owners, milestones, risks, and decision points.
• Drive execution of special projects that cut across multiple teams or regions.
• Identify bottlenecks, escalate risks, and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare project updates, decision memos, and executive briefings.
• Ensure priority initiatives maintain momentum and do not get stuck between functions.
• Support the design and management of org-level dashboards, operating reviews, and performance routines.
