About the role

  • Streamline and manage departmental processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across residential areas.
  • Manage departmental resources and staff-facing documentation.
  • Oversee administrative operations and logistical support for staff and residential programs.
  • Collaborate with leadership to create procedures and operational goals.
  • Promote operational excellence through clear communication, documentation, and staff training.
  • Serve on departmental and divisional committees.
  • Develop and monitor timelines for major operational projects.
  • Lead assessment initiatives to measure student engagement, program effectiveness, and staff experience.
  • Deliver training and coaching for staff on assessment, operational processes, and program implementation.
  • Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of residential engagement initiatives.
  • Research and recommend community-building strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in supervisory/manager capacity
  • Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, or related field (preferred)
  • 6 or more years of professional experience in residence life, housing operations, or related functional areas (preferred)
  • 3 or more years of experience supervising residence life, housing operations, or related staff (preferred)
  • Experience working in program operations, residential operations, or with residential engagement models
  • Experience leading assessment initiatives and presenting data-driven reports to leadership
  • Experience with housing or assessment management systems, survey tools, and digital communication platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, streamline systems, and use data to inform decisions
  • Strong organizational, communication, and data storytelling skills
