About the role

  • Oversee Documentation Review, Accommodation Determinations , and Team Management
  • Manage and assign clinician caseloads, ensuring effective prioritization, timely decision-making, and high-quality reviews
  • Ensure all clinical reviews and eligibility determinations meet the highest standards of accuracy, fairness, and consistency
  • Lead and supervise clinicians responsible for accommodation decisions across College Board programs
  • Direct daily operations of the SSD School-level Review process
  • Serve as the escalation point and subject-matter authority for complex eligibility determinations
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and interdisciplinary experts to uphold best practices
  • Review and refine clinical policies, processes, and tools
  • Lead verbal and written communications with stakeholders
  • Share leadership responsibilities with fellow SSD Directors
  • Define and refine the clinical policy governing accommodation determinations
  • Drive strategic enhancements to accommodations policy and technology-enabled implementation
  • Represent College Board externally through presentations, webinars, and professional outreach

Requirements

  • Psy.D./Ph.D. degree in relevant psychological and educational field
  • Five (5) or more years experience in psychological assessment or research, working primarily with an educational population, including 2+ years of program and staff management
  • Extensive knowledge of assessments and procedures related to the determination of various disabilities and appropriate accommodations
  • Knowledge of issues/trends affecting students with disabilities in the context of educational testing
  • Superior ability to interpret and evaluate the integrity of psychological assessment and related documentation
  • Superior knowledge and understanding of disability laws such as IDEA, ADA and Section 504
  • Superior analytical and writing skills
  • Superior speaking and presentation skills
  • Skill in managing groups that have sensitive tasks
  • Authorization to work in the United States
