About the role
- Manage relationships and operational performance of third‑party variety pack co‑packers to deliver agreed production volumes, quality standards, and service levels.
- Serve as the primary liaison for escalation and resolution of production or quality issues between co‑packers and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with third‑party partners to ensure ongoing improvement in key metrics.
- Collaborate with supply planning teams to coordinate supply across co-manufacturing variety pack and third-party variety pack operations to meet product mix and delivery timelines.
- Partner with engineering and technical teams to introduce packaging innovations and improve process capabilities.
- Ensure all third‑party operations meet Coca‑Cola product quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with Quality and Food Safety teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
- Partner with Supply Chain Finance to prepare annual budgets, track performance, and manage cost drivers.
- Support contractual negotiations with co‑packers to optimize terms, production flexibility, and service levels.
- Embed sustainability goals into variety pack operations, including packaging material optimization, recycling initiatives, and energy‑efficient production methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Packaging Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing operations, co‑packing, or packaging supply chain management; experience with variety pack production strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and manage external partners for measurable performance improvements.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing financials and cost optimization in packaging operations.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies in a production or co‑packing environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, GMP, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require The Coca-Cola Company's sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States.
