💰 $91,100 - $151,800 per year
About the role
- Perform general accounting and reporting functions for the Cigna Global Health Benefits division
- Preparation of journal entries and payment requests
- Account reconciliations and various types of reporting and analysis
- Identify and lead opportunities for process improvements
- Collaborate and coordinate with key contacts across the company
- Participate in complex financial analysis, special projects and/or ad hoc reporting as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
- 3+ years of Accounting/Finance experience
- Public accounting or insurance related experience a plus, but not required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a multi-task environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Motivated, proactive self-starter
- Internet connection must be through a cable broadband or fiber optic service provider
