About the role
- Understand the goals and initiatives of brokerage/consulting partners to identify and execute on growth opportunities
- Support local market growth by enabling Sales organization through broker engagement strategies
- Act as consultative partner to Market leadership and identify key partner firms
- Serve as a liaison to Market leadership to share updates and competitive intelligence
- Drive opportunities to show up as 'One Cigna' in the Market through stewardship meetings and training
- Develop a multi-year plan to achieve growth and earnings
- Maintain communication with key contacts and sales leaders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred, master’s degree a plus
- 5+ years industry experience (particularly carrier and/or consultant environment)
- Life, Accident & Health Insurance license a plus
- Excellent oral/written presentation and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong business acumen with proven ability to leverage knowledge base and communicate this knowledge to key stakeholders and business partners
- Adaptable, flexible, and able to lead/manage the organization through change
- Goal-oriented and personally accountable; resourceful and self-directed
- Strong experience and skill managing relationships
