About the role
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Evernorth Health Services leadership, translating business objectives into actionable marketing strategies and integrated campaigns.
- Anticipate challenges, pivot quickly when priorities shift, and develop creative solutions to keep projects on track.
- Build and maintain trusted partnerships with senior-level stakeholders, influencing marketing priorities and ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.
- Oversee development of creative briefs, campaign strategies, and content that reflects Evernorth’s brand promise and differentiates in the marketplace.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to account team members; foster a culture of collaboration, resilience, and accountability.
- Collaborate effectively with in-house teams, external vendors, and suppliers to deliver seamless execution of complex, multi-channel campaigns.
- Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and budget management for complex campaigns; ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on strategy.
- Identify opportunities to enhance marketing effectiveness through new approaches, tools, and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or communications, with at least 3+ years in a senior account management or client leadership role within an agency or in-house marketing organization.
- Proven ability to lead strategic marketing initiatives for complex businesses, ideally in healthcare or related industries.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities; experience mentoring and developing talent.
- Highly adaptable and solutions-oriented; thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute flawlessly.
- Ability to work from a Cigna Group office 3 days a week.
