About the role

  • Serve as the compensation leader for a major business segment, delivering thought leadership on compensation strategy and practices
  • Design, evaluate, and enhance compensation programs, including incentive and variable pay plans
  • Lead annual compensation processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Evaluate roles, design market competitive pay packages, and advise on critical and senior leadership talent decisions
  • Assess internal equity and external competitiveness using market insights and best practices
  • Conduct compensation analysis to support the business strategy
  • Develop compensation recommendations that support organizational growth and change, including global expansion, integrations, restructuring, and M&A activity
  • Consult with HR business partners and recruiters on compensation-related issues
  • Communicate and train HR partners to support business managers on compensation topics
  • Counsel management and serves as a subject matter expert on compensation strategy, policies, programs, and communications

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of compensation or related HR/finance experience
  • Experience supporting a large, complex organization (e.g., Fortune 500 or global enterprise)
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships and influence outcomes
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, Masters degree a plus
  • Experience with compensation administration systems and Workday
  • CCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
