About the role
- Gather and verify complete medication lists and patient allergies
- Document all medication details in electronic records
- Interview patients/caregivers and consult pharmacists to resolve discrepancies
- Assist with quality assurance data, clinical services, order handling, and support pharmacists with data entry and insurance claims
Requirements
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification required
- 2+ years Pharmacy Technician experience; 1+ year with Medication Reconciliation/History in hospitals
- Preferred: Prescription data entry and project coordination experience
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with Epic, Cerner and/or MediTech
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and technology skills; emergency availability
