About the role

  • Build, maintain, and enhance relationships with payors before, during, and after contract execution
  • Lead negotiations for new and renewal contracts to secure competitive reimbursement and strategic value
  • Ensure all agreements comply with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
  • Collaborate with operations, billing, clinical, and marketing teams to align payor strategies with broader business goals
  • Provide leadership and support to direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability and growth
  • Oversee credentialing and provider enrollment processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Support organizational initiatives by participating in cross-functional projects and other responsibilities assigned by leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payor relations, contract management, or related healthcare functions
  • Proven success negotiating and managing complex payor contracts with regional or national plans
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading teams or supervising staff
