About the role

  • Supporting the work of the Global Conferences team, which serves approximately 450,000 youth and young single adults worldwide each year.
  • Working with Global Conference Area Support Team and ecclesiastical areas to meet and fulfill area needs and requests
  • Gathering and tracking area learnings, reports and metrics
  • Writing and editing communications in collaboration with the broader team
  • Working with various teams to create and successfully deliver communications
  • Brainstorming ways to utilize communication platforms most accessible to conference audiences

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Church doctrine, history, organization, policy, and a love of the gospel of Jesus Christ
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to give careful attention to detail, sustain concentration for long periods of time, and maintain the highest level of accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to represent the department professionally
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Preferred: experience with international relations, communications, business, experience design, and/or user experience
  • Preferred: Ability to speak a foreign language, preferably Spanish or French
  • Interns must be enrolled as a full-time student or have graduated within one year of beginning their internship.
  • Interns must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
