About the role
- Partner with management to ensure compliance with federal and state laws governing alcoholic beverage development and production
- Assist with oversight of trade practice compliance, including review and approval of marketing materials
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to marketing, sponsorships, and promotional activities
- Provide legal training, conduct research, and assist with special projects and litigation as needed
Requirements
- JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school, excellent academic record
- Active membership in good standing with at least one state bar
- 3–6 years of legal experience, preferably including at least two years at a law firm supporting CPG companies in product liability, commercial, marketing, and advertising matters
- Exposure to regulatory compliance matters strongly preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Practical, creative problem‑solving ability
- Strong attention to detail and follow‑through
- Sound judgment, integrity, and professionalism
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong client service skills and business acumen
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
- Positive attitude and sense of humor
