About the role
- Management and service of complex commercial accounts
- Develop and retain consultative relationships with clients
- Evaluate and educate clients on coverage options
- Acquire and retain large, complex clients through risk understanding
- Develop partnerships with key insurance partners and broker representatives
- Lead discussions on client renewals with various analyses
- Prepare complex submissions for the marketplace
- Coordinate client team to ensure service standards exceed expectations
- Build trusting relationships through integrity and expertise
- Share insurance expertise with colleagues
Requirements
- Obtain and maintain state insurance license
- A minimum of seven (7) years of commercial insurance experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex risk exposures
- Exceptional technical knowledge of insurance coverage, contracts, and market conditions
- Experience in reviewing and negotiating loss sensitive casualty and workers compensation placements
- Designations preferred: CPCU, CIC, CRM, or ARM
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Working knowledge in Sagitta is preferred
