About the role

  • Supports the planning and administration of credentialing activities, including resident training and certification, application processing, and continuing certification operational activities to achieve workload, productivity, budget and staffing level targets.
  • Participates in the design, testing and implementation of new credentialing systems and improvements to existing credentialing systems.
  • Works closely with the Communications, Engagement, and Marketing team to ensure that all communications between the ABA and its constituents about credentialing matters are accurate, professional, timely and are dispatched to individuals and organizations effectively.
  • Responsible for maintaining a high-quality work environment, so team members are motivated to perform at their highest level.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree preferred; any combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to service and continually exhibit a customer service culture.
  • Demonstrate dependability for own actions and their consequences, and for the performance of our functions and duties.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in rapidly changing conditions.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a professional constituent base, both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with a strong ability to effectively interface and collaborate with varied constituent groups, including staff, board members, volunteers, and external organizations.
  • Independent self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to think logically and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Ability to work concurrently on multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to work as part of a team; able to work well in partnership with a variety of staff and other organizations.
  • Demonstrated willingness to keep technical skills and knowledge up to date.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with vendors and consultants.
  • Independent self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Minimum of three years of management experience using extensive knowledge of business practices to respond to customer inquiries and resolve problems.
  • Minimum of five years of progressively more responsible experience in a professional office environment.
  • Experience managing and developing projects.
