• Provide overall leadership and strategic oversight for the utility’s OT environment, ensuring alignment with organizational mission and regulatory requirements.

Director, Operational Technology

Manager

• Own and maintain the US Utilities application roadmap for Generation, Substation, Transmission and Distribution, aligned with operational priorities and AES Global Digital strategy and technology trends.
• Act as the primary liaison between Digital and Operations, advising business leaders and capturing operational digital demands.
• Identify high‑level operational digital requirements, develop initial business cases, and ensure expectations are met throughout delivery.
• Lead process and system rationalization, simplifying the application landscape and reducing redundancy and technical debt to ensure sustained business value.
• Oversee SAP‑centric asset and work management capabilities (PM, IM-PS, MM), including Fixed Asset in PowerPlan.
• Ensure and promote reliable integration and alignment across SAP, Geographic Information System (GIS), Graphical Work Design (GWD), Outage Management System (OMS), and field execution solutions.
• Own application budget planning and execution, including forecasting, cost control, and vendor financial oversight.
• Streamline and manage the application support model, coordinating internal IT teams and external service providers.

Manager, Transmission and Distribution Utility Applications

Engineer

• The Project Engineer, Utility will be responsible for the design and engineering of large, utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV), battery energy storage (BESS) projects in late-stage development, construction, and operation
• Responsibilities include management of third-party engineers, design reviews, technical services, contract document development and negotiation, procurement specification preparation, punch list development, and other technical support activities
• Support a Senior Project Engineer on all technical and engineering matters for all assigned projects
• May serve as the single technical point of contact on projects at the discretion of the regional engineering manager
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives for the execution of safe, quality, and high-performance projects.

Project Engineer – Utility

Network Engineer

• Design and deploy Cisco network infrastructure (routers, switches, and firewalls) across multiple renewable energy sites
• Configure and maintain Cisco Firepower/FTD firewalls and Cisco SD-WAN architecture
• Build and monitor IPsec/GRE tunnels between data centers, substations, and field devices
• Ensure high availability and redundancy across primary and secondary data centers
• Manage site connectivity including private circuits, LTE failover, and remote access solutions
• Support SCADA network integration and ensure proper segmentation between IT and OT networks

• Support the company’s NERC Operations & Planning (O&P) compliance program
• Execute day-to-day tasks that ensure all operations meet NERC reliability standards
• Maintain compliance through diligent monitoring, evidence collection, audit support, and regulatory research
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed compliance seamlessly into all asset life cycle stages
• Prepare and submit documentation to demonstrate adherence to NERC requirements

Senior Analyst, NERC Operations

• Oversee day-to-day NERC compliance execution for all AES Clean Energy Operational sites
• Act as an Operations Standard SME for NERC Compliance Standards like Facility Ratings, Protection and Control, Emergency Operations and Voltage regulation
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Protection and Control, Asset Management and NERC Compliance Teams to translate NERC regulatory requirements into executable processes, technical controls, maintenance programs and audit ready evidence.
• Document and ensure rigorous adherence to all AES NERC Compliance procedures relevant NERC O&P standards (e.g. FAC, PRC, EOP, VAR standards) in the operation and maintenance of generation assets, as well as compliance with any applicable Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), regional entity (e.g., MRO, WECC, SERC) and ISO requirements

• Maintain relationships with field operations personnel to allow consistently completing monthly compliance checklist and confirming consistent implementation of compliance.
• Collect, organize, and provide compliance evidence (maintenance records, logs, test results, etc.) to NERC Compliance team to demonstrate adherence to NERC requirements.
