• Support project teams in compiling the appropriate contract documents for distribution to 3rd party EPC contractors in project RFP processes

Contract Manager

Engineer

• Assist studies in connection with the transmission system to ensure reliability, adequacy, and security
• Analyze power flow, dynamic-stability, transient-stability, and voltage-stability
• Assist with annual NERC TPL-001 Transmission System Planning Performance Assessment
• Document the assessment required by NERC EOP-005 System Restoration from Blackstart Resources

Senior Tax Analyst

• Lead Transmission compliance related activities for AES utilities, including but not limited to FAC-001, FAC-002, FAC-008, MOD-32, and other applicable NERC/FERC/PJM/MISO activities.
• Manage model development, maintenance and validation practices for internal Transmission Planning models.
• Ensuring the company's technical compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Transmission Planning Modeling Engineer

Project Manager

• Act as the real estate lead for all real estate projects as assigned.
• Main point of contact for all other internal teams and manage all outside real estate vendor relationships for their portfolio.
• Draft and negotiate landowner agreements including leases, amendments, easements, purchase agreements, landowner estoppels and various other related documents.
• Draft and negotiate governmental and third-party agreements including consents, licenses, rights-of-way, and other related documents.
• Track and manage all real estate related Special Land Use Permit and/or Conditional Use Permit conditions to completion as specified by each project permit.
• Track and manage all Master Service Agreements and associated Task Orders as well as Change Orders, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and Statements of Work, for their project vendors.
• Obtain, review, analyze title commitments including curative title issues and negotiation of title proformas, insurance policies and endorsements.

• Lead the implementation of Enterprise Architecture practices, standards and frameworks for the Digital Team to use in evaluating technology changes for the Renewables Business Unit.
• Lead the transition from point-in-time architecture documentation to structured, governed architecture data that can be analyzed, reused, and kept current by implementing the LeanIX Architectural Solution.
• Lead the architecture review board to review, approve and guide the enterprise on new technology implementations for projects, programs and SaaS solutions.
• Define the maturity stages for application portfolio management (e.g. inventory, assessment, rationalization, modernization) and guide other digital functions in its implementation.
• Establish consistent linkage between business and technology architecture, ensuring capabilities, processes, value streams are mapped in applications, data and technology; ensuring alignment between business and IT strategy to ensure IT capabilities align and business goals.
• Cross-functional alignment of roadmaps and standards and to identify when changes are required.

Manager, Enterprise Architecture – Renewables

Analyst

• Provide financial oversight over growth projects, including supporting the budget and forecast processes
• Tracking of spend to project completion
• Monitoring operational processes relating to the project lifecycle and procure to pay
• Serve as a finance liaison for the PMO, coordinating with teams in Controllership, FP&A, and Regulatory Affairs
• Work cross functionally with supporting areas such as IT, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, and the AES Shared Services center

Compliance

• Track regulatory requirements and act as a strategic partner with other internal stakeholders, including Market Operations, Legal, and the NERC Compliance team to ensure that AES meets its RTO/ISO compliance obligations.
• Attend, or monitor through consultants and trade associations: (1) ISO/RTO stakeholder meetings, (2) meetings for relevant federal and state commissions, and (3) industry trade group meetings.
• Review and disseminate information from these meetings to Commercial, Development, Government Affairs, Legal, and other groups within AES.
• Garner industry support for desired positions through participation in industry proceedings, both through the written comment process and through negotiation.
• Coordinate meetings with internal stakeholders within US Renewables, and other AES business units, to garner input and aid the development of recommended policy positions.
• Contribute to the drafting of comments for stakeholder processes and regulatory filings.

• Provide leadership, independent oversight, and expert guidance in maintaining continuous compliance with the NERC CIP Standards
• Conduct periodic internal compliance assessments and spot checks to verify adherence to applicable Standards
• Monitor updates to new and existing CIP Standards, and coordinate comments from internal SMEs for industry commenting and balloting activities

• Lead and support the team of technicians in performing preventive & corrective maintenance and supporting ongoing construction activities
• Plan, coordinate and manage the safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of field services to AES Clean Energy facilities
• Work closely with Regional Manager, Engineering team, and others to remediate site issues and enhance performance
• Coordinate and manage contractors engaged to support maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental requirements
• Support or lead warranty claims processes with EPC providers and equipment vendors
• Establish and maintain an annual on-call schedule
