Game Engineer

• Update and manage the plans, schedules and related task tracking database across key features, departments and/or milestone deliverables.
• Work collaboratively with production and development department leadership to drive decision making that achieves both the project goals and company values.
• Monitor the team and project health and communicate risks to leadership.
• Connect departments and eliminate roadblocks to ensure the team is flowing efficiently through their work.
• Solicit needs from departments and align them to set project requirements. Take those requirements and turn them into project plans. Work with the team to execute those plans.
• Assemble productivity data from the production tracking system and use that data create production reports that steer the production forward.
• Drive team towards clarity when ambiguity exists on a new deliverable type or department innovation.
• Suggest improvements to the production process and assist in seeing them through.

• Create and implement detailed animations for player driven combat actions as well as AI, utilizing motion capture data and cutting-edge motion matching technology to ensure realistic and fluid performance.

• Drive structured, data-informed decision-making with directors and discipline leads to protect scope, quality, and milestone commitments.
• Own and maintain the integrated cross-department macro schedule including milestone architecture, feature sequencing, dependency mapping, and critical path dependencies through Gold.
• Serve as the single point of accountability for schedule integrity. Ensure all departmental plans and forecasts are capacity-validated, reconciled, and aligned to the macro production plan.

• Own production velocity metrics and forecasting models, translating production system data into forward-looking schedule projections and milestone confidence assessments.
• Produce standardized executive reporting that clearly communicates schedule health, forecast accuracy, and dependency risk.
• Provide forward-looking delivery forecasts and scenario modeling to support executive planning, scope decisions, and milestone readiness assessments.
