About the role

  • Integration into the Radio Product Department (DRA)
  • Design and oversight of radio product development
  • Development of the new Manpack radio (Dream Product)
  • Definition and implementation of the software architecture
  • Design of embedded real-time software architectures
  • Sizing of required hardware resources
  • Preparation of architectural diagrams and design documentation
  • Monitoring development and performance against targets defined during upstream engineering

Requirements

  • Master's degree or engineering degree (equivalent to Bac+5)
  • At least 10 years' experience defining embedded real-time software architecture on IP communications projects
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing real-time software architectures on target platforms
  • Experience in radiocommunications such as 4G/5G and/or familiarity with the OSI model
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Strong knowledge of the full software engineering lifecycle and of radio hardware and software architectures
