About the role

  • Customer acquisition and retention: Develop and expand long-term customer relationships and actively identify and win new business customers within the sales territory.
  • Sales planning and budget responsibility: Responsible for planning, implementing, and achieving the regional sales budget to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Project and proposal management: Manage and close sales projects, including proposal pricing, follow-up, and measures to strengthen customer loyalty.
  • Contract and recovery management: Conduct customer loss analyses, develop recovery strategies, and prepare and monitor contracts, including action planning for deviations.
  • Complaint handling and customer satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction through professional handling of feedback and complaints.
  • Sales reporting and external representation: Prepare sales reports and analyses to steer sales activities and represent the company at trade fairs and events.

Requirements

  • Initial professional experience in sales, preferably in the B2B sector
  • Knowledge of the food or beverage industry, or equivalent expertise in this area, is essential
  • Confident use of standard MS Office applications and experience with an ERP system
  • Very good German and English language skills are required
  • High willingness to travel
  • Excellent negotiation and facilitation/presentation skills, strong organizational ability, and an independent, structured working style complete your profile
